Rishika Sharma

Rishika is currently the National President of the Council of Ethics at the Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI), and an Advisory Member at Eight Goals One Foundation (8one). She is an active advocate of practical action surrounding concepts that are otherwise considered theoretical such as gender, feminism, diversity and inclusion, human rights, transnationalism, governance, and peace. She was also chosen as one of the gender advocates from the South Asia and MENA regions for the Swedish Institute’s Leader Lab 2021 and has previously been invited to speak at UNESCO’s celebration of the International Day of Education, at The F.A.I.R. Dialogue, at the Ecocivilisation Talks as well as at a talk hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in India. Rishika regularly conducts sensitisation workshops on understanding and consequently, preventing sexual harassment. She also spearheads research for the same in both the formal and the informal sectors.
